Broken Teeth

A BUPA dental practice that provides in-depth broken teeth solutions

Throughout your lifetime, there’s a risk of teeth being broken through a number of outside factors. This includes pressure from teeth grinding, biting into hard food, injury to the mouth, sudden temperature changes in the mouth and more.

Having cracked or broken teeth may lead to complications down the line, such as difficulty to eating, sensitivity to certain types of food and mouth infections.

To help stop this from happening, Cranmore Dental offers a range of new teeth services, covering the fixing of broken teeth and veneer implants.

What types of services do we provide?

Porcelain veneers

When it comes to correcting broken teeth, we offer a porcelain veneer solution that can help to restore tooth integrity and overall appearance. A veneer is a porcelain facing that is placed over a tooth in a similar process to a false fingernail.

The benefits of porcelain veneers are that they promote a natural smile, give added structure to the teeth and work as a good alternative to braces.

We also provide composite bonding veneers, which are made from composite resins. Bonding is the process of applying the composite resin to broken teeth. The putty-like resin is moulded to the surface of chipped teeth and match the same shade.

After the composite has been applied, it’s set with a curing light and any adjustments are made once the resin has become firm.

While porcelain veneers and bonding are different dental treatments, they both achieve the same result of a winning smile and stronger teeth structure.
